Angela White has been named director of marketing and communications for the Regional Transportation Commission.
White joined the RTC in December of 1999 and has been acting director of the department since November 2004.
She previously served as marketing coordinator for the agency.
She attended the University of Nevada, Reno and earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Prior to joining the RTC, she was employed by the American Gem Society as director of marketing and public relations and the University of Nevada, Reno as alumni program manager.
