Milburn T. Atkinson Jr., 86, a Carson City resident for the past 22 years, died May 25, 2005, at home. He was born Sept. 30, 1918, in Clovis, N.M., to Milburn T. Sr. and Pearl Wiggins.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Whittier, Calif.
Mr. Atkinson was a long-time member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at Cactus Jack's and was an avid Dodgers fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June, in 1992.
Among his survivors are his son, Ken and daughter, Patricia Atkinson, both of Carson City.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
