Tourism University graduates

Nine people who work in northern Nevada tourism are the first graduates of the Nevada Tourism University conducted by the Nevada Commission on Tourism.

Graduates, who will be honored during the Governor's Conference on Tourism in Las Vegas next month, include: Joy K.

Brandt, treasurer of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce; Linda Brown, administrative assistant with the city ofWest Wendover; Lorraine Clark with Clark Publications and the White Pine Chamber of Commerce in Ely; Tom Lester, tourism and convention manager with the Elko Convention and Visitors Authority; Janet Morrison of St.

Augustine's Cultural Center in Austin; Kitty Nash,membership director of the Elko Area Chamber of Commerce; Evie Pinneo, executive director of the White Pine Chamber of Commerce; Kerrie Supanich, administrative clerk with the city ofWest Wendover; and Joan Williams, treasurer of the Austin Historical Society.
