Richard Bachman has been named president of Lakefield Ventures, a Reno-based mining company.He also was named to the board of the publicly traded company.
Bachman has been president of Minera Teles Pires Inc., a Reno-based mining company, since 2002 and also is the president and chief executive officer of Pan American Gold Corp.
He's a graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines who worked 22 years for Homestake Mining Co.
