Peavine Construction Inc.
of Sparks last week won a $2.8 million contract from the Sparks city government to build a major sewer line to serve Spanish Springs.
Sparks officials said the new line will provide additional capacity to deal with growth in Spanish Springs.
Insituform Technologies Inc.
of Chesterfield,Mo.,meanwhile, won a $2.2 million contract from Sparks to make improvements to an existing Sun Valley sewer line.
The project will provide additional capacity in the line.
