Crime log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Fred Elvin, 23, an installer from Carson City was arrested at 3:16 a.m. on Saturday in the 3400 block of Highway 50 on suspicion of one count of felony parole and probation violation. Sheriff's deputies reported that he was found hiding beneath a car behind Farrell's Bar, and fled when deputies approached. Deputies reported he appeared under the influence of alcohol. No bail was set.

• Julian Cyrus Contreras, 22, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 3:17 a.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of Highway 50 was arrested one suspicion of one count of felony parole and probation violation. He was arrested behind Farrell's Bar, and after a breath test, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. No bail was set.

• Brandon Dennis Peart, 24, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. on Saturday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of one count of misdemeanor resisting a police officer with violence, one count of felony possession of a controlled substance, one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of misdemeanor failure to appear in traffic court.

A plainclothes deputy in the gang unit reported that he saw Peart walking through the parking lot at Mario's Auto Repair looking at vehicles. The deputy questioned Peart and discovered there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest. When the deputy tried to handcuff Peart, he scuffled with the plainclothes officer and a backup deputy. Peart was searched, and deputies reported they found methamphetamine in a baggie and a glass pipe. Bail was set at $4,563.

• A 37-year-old unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 1:22 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Sundance Court on suspicion of one count misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• A 24-year old employee of Snap-On Tools in Carson City was arrested at 1:16 a.m. Sunday at Airport and Woodside roads in Carson City on suspicion of one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and one count of misdemeanor littering. Bail was set at $2,496.

• A 35-year-old transient was arrested in the 1900 block of North Carson Street at 7:19 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of one count of misdemeanor DUI alcohol and drugs, second offense, one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of misdemeanor driving on a revoked license and one count of misdemeanor open container violation. Bail was set at $4,650.

• A 31-year-old service employee and transient was arrested at 5:17 p.m. on Saturday at the corner of Highway 50 and Lompa Lane on suspicion of one county of misdemeanor indecent conduct and one count of misdemeanor arrest of a probationer. Bail was set at $3,632 cash.

• A framer from Carson City was arrested at 11:11 p.m. Friday at Sherman Way and Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI alcohol, first offense. Bail was set at $1,132.

• An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Friday at Robinson and Roop streets on suspicion of one count of a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Bail was set at $500.

• A 67-year-old transient woman was arrested at 6:37 p.m. Friday at North Carson Street and College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $3,000 cash.

• A 21-year-old Carson City plumber was arrested at Stanton and Woodside drives at 15:07 p.m. Friday on suspicion of two counts of misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at $2,264.

• A 22-year-old Dayton drafter was arrested at 6:58 p.m. Friday at Koontz and Carson streets on suspicion of one count of misdemeanor failure to appear warrant. Bail was set at $275.

• A 23-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at noon Friday in the 1000 block of Saliman Road on suspicion of one count of misdemeanor trespassing and one count of misdemeanor no seat belt.

Lyon County

Deputies responded to the following calls Saturday:

• Driving under the influence at 4:03 a.m. at Silverado and Tamarisk roads in Mason Valley.

• Suspected battery at 4:43 a.m. on Highway 95A in Mason Valley.

• Domestic dispute at 6:41 am. and again at 7:27 a.m. in the 400 block of Parkland Way in Fernley.

• Driving under the influence at 8:05 a.m. on Highway 95A in Fernley.

• Domestic dispute at 9:52 a.m. in the 500 block of Summer Street in Fernley.

• Damage to property at 9:56 a.m. on Mason Pass Road in Mason Valley

• Property damage at 11:55 a.m. in the 5100 block of Pike Street in Dayton.

• Suspicious vehicle at 12:18 p.m. in the 300 block of Ophir Road in Dayton Valley.

• Narcotics complaint at 2:40 p.m. at the jail in Mason Valley.

• Verbal and physical threats made at 3:37 p.m. on Beverly Court in Fernley.

• Vehicle accident/fire at 4:02 p.m. on Affonso Drive in Mound House.

• Larceny at 4:10 p.m. in the 300 block of Coral Way in Dayton Valley.

• Missing-person report at 5:56 p.m. in the 2900 block of Winnemucca Street in Silver Springs.

• Hit-and-run accident at 6:03 p.m. in the 1900 Block of Rawles Drive in Fernley.

• Vehicle fire at 9:16 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Newlands Drive in Fernley.

• Larceny at 10:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Emigrant Way in Fernley.
