Four contractors disciplined by state

The Nevada State Contractors Board has taken disciplinary action against four northern Nevada contractors.

The business of Eureka Builders Inc. of Carson City will be reviewed by the board's staff during the next 60 days.

The contractors board said the Eureka Builders acted beyond the scope of its license and failed to list required information such as its license number and the names of subcontractors on a contract or proposal.

Four Seasons Mechanical LLC of Sun Valley voluntarily surrendered its contractors license after the board found it willfully disregarded building laws. The board said Four Seasons Mechanical also failed to list required information on a contractor or proposal.

A permanent letter of reprimand was placed in the company's file. Neuffer Homes & Development of Reno was ordered to surrender its license within 15 days after the board found it failed to include the required Residential Recovery Fund information on a contract and failed to establish financial responsibility.

The license of Nevada Pump & Drilling of Dayton was revoked after an allegation the company failed to pay for materials and services, failed to establish financial responsibility and failed to comply with a written request from the contractors board.
