Sparks-based Systems of Nevada was named dealer of the year by First Alert Professional Security Systems.
The award is based on sales volume.
In addition, Systems of Nevada was also presented with First Alert's community service award for hosting and sponsoring the 2005 KlaasKids Print-a-thon, a free child ID day.
