Mitch Metcalf has joined Great Basin Internet Services Inc.
of Reno as a communications specialist.
He will oversee rollout of a voice-over-Internet protocol service by Great Basin.
Metcalf moved to Reno three years ago from Dallas, where he was Southwestern director of sales for InterVoice.
He also has held positions with Aspect, Siemens and Isoetec and has worked as a consultant to satellite and cellular organizations.
