Washoe opens physical therapy center

Washoe Medical Center launched Washoe Medical Center Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy at Vista.

The facility located within Washoe Family and Urgent Care at 910 Vista Blvd. provides physical therapy to family and urgent care patients. A fulltime physical therapist provides therapy at the center Monday through Friday.

Lisa Mukavitz, a physical therapist at the center, said population growth in Sparks drove development of the facility.
