A free class to help retail and casino employees learn to prepare the paperwork for the issuance of a summons through the Reno Municipal Court will be sponsored by the Reno Police Department on Wednesday.
The one-hour training sessions are scheduled at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Regional Public Safety Training Facility at 5190 Spectrum Blvd., Room 1005.
Participants in the class are certified to handle paperwork requesting a summons in crimes such as petty theft and trespassing. To reserve a spot in one of the class sessions, e-mail saltera@ci.reno.nv.us or call 334-2194.
