Reno-based Glamis Gold Ltd.
said last week that its board approved a $52 million capital budget during the rest of this year for engineering studies, exploration and other work at its Penasquito project in Mexico.
Glamis acquired Penasquito through its merger with Western Silver Corp.
this month.
