Reno Engineering has submitted plans to the Nevada Division of Transportation for the new Interstate 80 interchange into the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center's four-lane USA Parkway.
The new interchange would be similar to those at Sparks and Vista boulevards off I-80 in Sparks, Reno Engineering executives said.
The interchange project and an associated bridge across the Truckee River are scheduled for completion in late 2007.
USA Parkway will cross the industrial center to link I-80 with Highway 50.
