Lynn G. Gillette has been selected as chair of the business department of Sierra Nevada College, a private institution at Incline Village.
Gillette most recently served as vice president for business, administration and compliance and was professor of business, at Spalding University in Louisville, Ky.
He earned a doctorate in economics at Texas A & M University and completed the management development program at Harvard University.
