Charlie Pankey has been named regional advertising manager for Sierra Nevada Media Group, part of Reno-based Swift Communications.
Pankey, who has 14 years of advertising experience, previously worked four years at the Sioux City Journal as retail advertising manager. He started his career at the Idaho Statesman in Boise.
He is a marketing and business management graduate of Western Oregon University.
