Patty Flippen has been hired as the gift shop manager at John Ascuaga's Nugget.
She previously was area manager for Dillard's. Flippen also has worked as buyer and merchandiser at Arrowcreek and buyer and senior manager for Don Sherwood Golf and Tennis in San Francisco for 18 years.
She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in social welfare.
