Julie McMillin has been named dean of admissions and financial at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village.
McMillin joined the private college in 2005 as director of financial aid after moving from Chicago, where she was director of graduate admission at The John Marshall Law School. She also has worked at the Institute of Design and the American Academy of Art, both in Chicago.
She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska and a master's in business from the University of Missouri.
