Taxable sales in Washoe County during March were up 3.4 percent from year-earlier figures, the state Department of Taxation said last week.
Carson City was up 10.1 percent, Douglas County was down 4.8 percent, Lyon County was down 19.9 percent and Churchill County was down 3.3 percent.
