Brian Savino has been named president of Reno-based SulphCo Inc.
Savino most recently was executive vice president of Pierson Capital LLC where he was accountable for all oil energy projects.
From 2002 to 2004, Savino served as vice president of energy for RWE Americas. He also has held managerial positions for William Energy, Texaco Oil Trading Company and Avant Petroleum.
Savino earned a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, a master's degree in finance from Long Island University and a master's degree of transportation from New York University.
