Michael E. Hackett, vice president of Reno-based Alrus Consulting, has been recognized by the Washoe County Medical Society for his work as campaign manager of the "Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act" initiative in 2006.
Hackett, who has worked with Alrus since 2001, oversees legislative, political and regulatory issues.
