Cheryl A.Martin has been named as vice
president, investor relations, for Reno-based
Meridian Gold.
Martin, who has 25 years experience in
investor relations,most recently worked eight
years for Gold Fields Limited, leading its
North American investor relations effort.
She also has worked for Canyon
Resources and Wharf Resources and with oil
and gas companies in the 1970s and early
1980s.
