Howard Chen, M.D., has joined Renown Health's Medical Group at South Meadows.
Chen previously was a family medicine specialist at Health Access Washoe County Clinic in Reno, the executive director of Controlled Burn, Inc. in Reno and the founder and owner of Dragonfly Medical Acupuncture in Reno.
Chen did his residency in family medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, and earned a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, N.Y. He also earned a bachelor's degree in biopsychosocial health from Brown University in Providence, R.I.
