Joe Locurto has been promoted to director of rural economic development by the Nevada Commission on Economic Development. He previously was a program coordinator with the commission.
Locurto joined the commission in May 2006, moving from Evanston, Wyo., where he was the business and community relations representative for Uinta County State Bank.
He previously had worked as director of the Uinta County Economic Development Commission.
He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming.
