Loren Pierce has been named safety manager for the northern Nevada operations of The PENTA Building Group.
Pierce, who has 20 years construction experience, retired from the U.S. Air Force as a senior non-commissioned officer.
He earned an associate's degree in fire engineering and an associate's degree in airfield management from the Community College of the Air Force.
