Laughton grows its Las Vegas office

The Laughton Company, a Reno-based insurance and professional services company with satellite offices in Las Vegas and Scottsdale, Ariz., doubled the staff and office space at its southern Nevada operations, said President Mitch Laughton.

The Laughton Company expanded to Las Vegas in 2001. The new 3,000-square-foot facility houses a staff of six but growth has been such that Laughton expects to need even more space in a year or two.

"We brought on some additional services, such as compensation consulting, and that has driven some of it," he said. "Because of those services, we were able to show customers our other core services, so there has been growth in our core business as well in all three markets."

The Laughton Company employs 18 at its main office at 50 Washington St., and two in Arizona. The Arizona office is also expected to double in size, Laughton said.
