The Carson City location of Crescent Jewelers will be closed after a liquidation sale, says the store's owner, Friedman's Inc. of Addison, Texas. The store at 911 Topsy Lane is one of 377 retail locations to be closed by Friedman's, which has been operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since January.
The company said it's negotiating to sell its remaining 78 locations. The Crescent Jewelers store in Meadowood Mall was not included in the list of locations identified for closure.
