Storey County has started the process of taking over the responsibility of roads in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.
The county accepted road dedications that included portions of Venice and Denmark drives. Next to be dedicated to the County are four-lane Portofino Drive and Milan Drive.
Funding to build the roads came from the developers, Roger Norman and Lance Gilman. Now Storey County not only takes responsibility of the dedicated roads but also will start reimbursing the developers for the construction costs.
