Robert White, James Wilson, David Sharp, W. Brian Becker and Stephen Bardsley were among winners in the Nevada Truck Driving Championships sponsored by the Nevada Motor Transport Association.
White, who drives for UPS Freight in Reno, won in the straight-truck competition. Wilson, a driver for FedEx Freight West at Verdi, won in the four-axle competition. Sharp, a driver for UPS at Sparks, took first place in the five-axle category. Becker, who drives for Con-way Freight at Sparks, won in the tankers category. Bardsley, who drives for Con-way at Sparks, won in the twins competition.
