Rusty Goe, owner of Southgate Coins in Reno, received the Extraordinary Merit Award from the Numismatic Literary Guild for his book, "James Crawford: Master of the Mint at Carson City."
Curry's Chronicle, a journal published by the Carson City Coin Collectors of America and edited by Goe, was recognized by the guild for the second consecutive year as best small publication.
And an article by Goe, "Is it Worthy: Who Really Knows the Value of a Rare Coin?" published on www.coinlink.com, was recognized by the group as best Web site article of the year.
