Renown Institute for Cancer

Aaron Bowman, M.D.; Christos Galanopoulos, M.D.; Sowjanya Reganti, M.D.; Eric Rost, M.D.; and Mary Schultheis, M.D. have joined the staff of Renown Institute for Cancer.

Bowman, who is associated with Reno Oncology Consultants, is a medical oncologist.

He earned his medical degree at Ohio State University and served his residency at the University of Utah in internal medicine. He remained there for an oncology specialty fellowship.

Galanopoulos, who is associated with General & Vascular Associates, is a gastrointestinal surgical oncologist.

He earned his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago and served residencies at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, Cook County Hospital and the University of Illinois Medical Center. He earned a hepato, pancreato-biliary and foregut fellowship at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

Reganti, who is associated with Alpine Hematology & Oncology, works as a hematologist and oncologist.

She earned her medical degree at Bangalore University in India and completed her residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago. She completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago.

Rost will serve as the institute's medical director of radiation and oncology.

He earned a medical degree at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, trained in internal medicine at George Washington University in Washington D.C., and trained in nuclear medicine and radiology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Rost also trained in radiation sciences at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and the University of Miami and most recently served with Cancer Hope, a not-for-profit foundation.

Schultheis, who is associated with General & Vascular Associates, earned her medical degree at Creighton University in Omaha and served her residency at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore in general surgery. She completed a fellowship at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in colon and rectal surgery.
