Mike Gartner, security supervisor and safety representative for International Game Technology, will serve as chairman of a new industrial safety advisory board established to guide Truckee Meadows Community College programs.
Other members of the group include Paul Shapiro of IGT; David Griggs, state safety manager for the Bureau of Land Management; Dee Stueve, safety officer for the Nevada Chapter Associated General Contractors; Robert McLaughlin, safety officer for Charles River Laboratories; Marcia Manley, safety manager for the Nevada Department of Transportation; Robert Harloff, safety officer for National Cash Register Co.; Mitch Nowicki of REMSA; Aaron Kenneston, Washoe County emergency manager; and Woody Wright, environmental health and safety officer at the University of Nevada, Reno.
