Valerie Glenn, president and chief executive officer of The Glenn Group, and Roberta Ross, president of Ross Manor, received the Raymond I. Smith Civic Leader of the Year Award from the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce Last Week.
Glenn launched an advertising and public relations firm in Reno in 1989. Ross owns and operates the 162-unit Ross Manor residential hotel in downtown Reno.
Bruce Demarest, general manager for Advanced Networking Group, was recognized as Volunteer of the Year. He is active in the chamber's Diplomat program.
