A community recycling event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Somersett Club at Town Center in northwest Reno.
Sierra Pacific Power will provide energy-efficient bulbs in exchange for traditional bulbs used in homes, New 2 U Computers will provide recycling of computers and electronic equipment, Pinky Pink's Inc. will accept toner and inkjet cartridges for recycling, Kiwanis will accept used bicycles to be refurbished for children in need and the Lions Club will offer a recycling program for eyeglasses.
