The Nevada State Contractors Board summarily suspended the contracting license of Grass Valley Industries, which does business as Kerr Concrete.
The board said it received numerous complaints that the company hadn't paid its bills and was conducting substandard workmanship.
In other disciplinary action, the board revoked the license of Atlas Tile & Stone of Reno. The board said company executives misrepresented a material fact. Along with revocation of its license, the company was ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and repay the state for its investigative costs.
