The Bureau of Land Management's Elko District Office authorized NewWest Gold USA Inc., to drill, trench, and sample on the company's Long Canyon property in Elko County about 25 miles southeast of Wells.
NewWest Gold, owned by Fronteer Development Group of Vancouver, will explore 19.6 acres in the first phase and 20.4 acres in subsequent phases of exploration.
