State revokes six contractors' licenses

The Nevada State Contractors Board has revoked the licenses of six contractors in northern Nevada and disciplined three others.

The license of CSE Construction of Fallon was revoked after the board found the company hadn't established financial responsibility.

Failure to include Residential Recovery Fund information on a contract or proposal led to revocation of the license of BIC Construction of Reno.

The licenses of Will F. Woolsey, SVWW LLC and Hawk Construction Inc. of Fernley were revoked after the board found the contractors participated in a prohibited act, failed to establish financial responsibility and failed to respond to requests from the board.

The board revoked the license of Quality Glass and Window Installation of Reno after finding the company completed substandard workmanship and failed to establish financial responsibility.

Blue Diamond Pool & Spa LLC, Dream Crafters LLC and Creative Tile & Stone LLC of Reno were fined $1,000 and investigative costs and told to repair a homeowner's pool. The board said the companies didn't comply with a construction contract, undertook a prohibited act and engaged in improper acts involving liens.
