Girl Scouts officers, board

Mary Carporale, a financial advisor for Edward Jones, has been elected president and board chair of Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada.

Other officers include Gina Session, chief deputy attorney general for the State of Nevada, first vice president; Lois Paynter, senior director of operations for Saint Mary's Health Plans, second vice president; Washoe County Sheriff Mike Haley, third vice president; Cindy Burk, senior vice president of Mutual of Omaha Bank, treasurer; Mindy Cannady, marketing manager for PK Electrical Inc., secretary.

Board members include: Michele Attaway, chief operations officer for Somersett Development; Sue Barry, assistant vice president for Bank of America Home Loans; Cookie Bible, a nurse practitioner for Center for Women's Health; Debby Bullentini, proprietor of L'uva Bella Wine Gallery; Mike Capellok, executive Director for Adams Associates Inc.; Marna Griffin, a Realtor for Dickson Realty; Tina Iftiger, director of Business Development for EDAWN; Dave Kladney, a community volunteer; Katherine Loudon, program coordinator for Washoe County School District and Susan Stewart, deputy attorney general for State of Nevada.

Marissa Tompkins and Maggie Jones will serve on the board as Girl Scout senior representatives.
