Carol Betz of Carson City has been appointed community counselor for the Au Pair in America program in Carson City, Reno, Sparks and the Lake Tahoe area.
Au Pair in America, headquartered in Stamford, Conn., places au pairs from 55 countries with U.S. families.
Betz is also co-founder of Mommy's Little Helpers LLC, which developed and markets The Guardian Sleeper, an infant sleep system designed to reduce Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
