Q&D Construction has started construction on a three-story, 28-unit transitional housing structure for Catholic Community Services of Northern Nevada at 387 Gould St., just east of Renown Regional Medical Center in downtown Reno.
The structure replaces two 50-year-old, one-story buildings.
Q&D started framing the building last week and expects to complete the $2.6 million project in early October. It was designed by Sheehan VanWoert Bigotti, an architectural firm in Reno.
