Todd Blonsley, Brian Armon, Dave Simonsen and Kelly Bland won the annual forecasting competition sponsored by northern Nevada chapter of the commercial real estate group CCIM.
Blonsley, who works with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services Co., was recognized for the most accurate prediction of the vacancy rate in multi-family housing in the region at the end of 2008.
Armon, a principal in Trinity Commercial, was recognized for the best prediction of the office market.
Simonsen, an industrial specialist with NAI Alliance, was honored for the best prediction of the industrial real estate market.
Bland, who specializes in retail properties, won the competition for most accurate prediction of retail vacancies.
Participants made their predictions in early 2008.
