Joe Barrus, Brandy Johnson-Crabtree, Jeffrey Fine, Dennis Montgomery and James Ricker have joined the staff of wind-power appliance maker Mariah Power in Reno.
Barrus joined the company as firmware manager. He has worked 18 years in the computer industry, including positions with Apple, IBM and AlphaSmart Inc.
Johnson-Crabtree, who has 11 years experience in audit and accounting positions, joined Mariah as accounting manager.
Fine, who was hired as a mechanical engineer, will be responsible for modeling future products during the development process.
Montgomery, hired a professional engineer, will assist in the structural design of future products.
Ricker, named sales operation administrator, will assist in the development of a dealer network and customer relationship management system.
