Dann Lewis has been named director of the Nevada Commission on Tourism by Gov. Jim Gibbons.
Lewis previously worked as director of tourism in Maine and New York State.
He also has developed tourism businesses, held tourism promotion positions in the Bahamas and U.S. Virgin Islands and worked as an airline executive.
He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and attended the International Marketing Institute at Harvard Business School.
