Charles Myers, an Elko County commissioner, has been appointed by Gov. Jim Gibbons to the Nevada Commission on Economic Development.
Myers is manager of Sierra Office Solutions in Elko, and has also held management positions with a job placement and training firm and a soft drink distributor.
