The Bureau of Land Management's quarterly oil and gas lease sale last week brought in just under $7,000 for two parcels totaling 1,919 acres in Nye County. The BLM had offered 85 parcels totaling 151,975 acres.
The BLM's gas and oil auction in June netted close to $500,000 as it successfully auctioned leases to 44 parcels in Nevada.
