Crystal Jackson has been named executive director of the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada.
Jackson joined the commission in 1996 as a legal case manager and has served as commission secretary since August 1999. She also has been assistant commission secretary, contract administrator for the state Department of Information Technology and Reno office manager for former U.S. Sen. Richard Bryan.
She earned a degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
