The Jerritt Canyon mine north of Elko produced 9,770 ounces of gold during 2009, compared with production of 44,700 ounces a year earlier.
The mine owned by Yukon-Nevada Gold Corp. of Vancouver was shut down for 235 days last year to resolve violations of environmental laws.
