Golden Phoenix Minerals, Inc. of Sparks said last week it sold 7.04 million shares of Scorpio Gold Corp., raising approximately $3.6 million.
Golden Phoenix acquired the shares in March when it sold a 70 percent interest in its Mineral Ridge gold project near Silver Peak in Esmeralda County to Scorpio. Golden Phoenix retains a 30 percent interest in the project.
