The State Contractors Board has revoked the license of Battle Born Builders Inc. of Reno.
The board said the company completed substandard workmanship, sought work larger than the limit on its license and engaged in a prohibited act.
In other action by the board:
* First Americans, a carpentry firm based in Reno, was fined $250 for working beyond the scope of its license.
* Raw Enterprises LLC., a residential and small commercial builder based in Sparks, was fined $550 for substandard workmanship and ordered to reimburse $4,771 to a homeowner.
