BAWN officers, directors

Tom Garretson of Garretson/Furgerson Construction has been elected president of the Builders Association of Western Nevada.

Other officers of the group will include Mark Turner, Black Pine Construction, first vice president; Jim Feser of Ridgeline Development, second vice president and Brent Holderman of Carson River Community Bank, secretary-treasurer.

Builder directors will include Russ Fiddyment of Metcalf Builders, Ben Smith of BSA Construction, Sam Landis of Ridgeline Development and Scott Higgins of Q&D Construction. Associate directors will include Russ Olmo of Olmo & Co., Keith Shaffer of Peak Consulting Engineers, Larry Peyton of Peyton Insurance and Chris O'Higgins of Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare.
