NNMC senior management

Matthew Cova, Tiffany Meert, Don Butterfield and Carla Adams have been named to the senior management team of Northern Nevada Medical Center.

Cova, who named chief financial officer, has eight years experience in healthcare and previously worked at Universal Health Services Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.

He earned a master's degree in healthcare administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a bachelor's degree in business from Loyola Marymount University.

Meert, who was named chief operating officer, previously worked at Universal Health Services Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla.

She has 13 years experience in healthcare. She earned a bachelor's degree in health information management from the University of Central Florida and a master's degree in business from the University of South Florida.

Butterfield, who has 17 years experience in healthcare public relations and marketing, including five years work in northern Nevada, was named director of business development and marketing.

He earned a bachelor's degree in community and a master's degree in business at the University of New Mexico and Bachelor's in Communication from the University of New Mexico.

Adams, who was named chief nursing officer, has 22 years experience in healthcare. She previously worked at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, Va.

She earned a master's degree in nursing from George Mason University and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Cedar Crest College.
